our story

started by people who’d had it with kijiji.

liaisoon was born in toronto in 2025, after one of our founders spent six weekends trying to find someone — anyone — to fix a leaking dishwasher. the listings were sketchy, the phone tag was endless, and the worker who finally showed up wanted cash only with no receipt.

we knew it shouldn’t be this hard. trusted local help is one of the oldest needs in the world — but it’s also one of the last to get a real platform. so we’re building it.

we believe in identity-verified workers, transparent pricing, payments held until the job is done, and a community that holds itself to a higher bar than the open marketplaces. nothing fancy. just trustworthy.

    same-day payouts, a flat 12% commission, no pay-to-play. our take rate is built around theirs.

    jobs are matched within neighborhoods, not zip-code radii. your fixer should know your block.
